From May 20 to 23, 2026, the World Elevator & Escalator Expo 2026 (WEE Expo) was held at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou. As the biennial flagship event of the global elevator industry, this year's expo covered over 100,000 square meters of exhibition space, bringing together more than 1,100 global brands including Otis, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, and Guangri, and welcomed tens of thousands of professional visitors from over 20 countries and regions including Germany, South Korea, Vietnam, and the UK – with overseas attendees accounting for more than 20% of total visitors.
After a 12-year hiatus, this premier global elevator industry event returned to Guangzhou for compelling reasons – in 2025, Guangzhou's elevator production accounted for 10.4% of China's total output, meaning one out of every ten elevators produced in China comes from Guangzhou. The profound industrial foundation and massive modernization demand of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area made this expo a vital platform connecting global elevator industry resources.
Huangyan Baoye Traffic Facilities Technology Co., Ltd. showcased its core protection products, including elevator safety barriers, construction barriers, and warning posts at this year's expo. As a professional manufacturer with over a decade of experience in the traffic safety and construction protection sector, Baoye's participation aimed to demonstrate our manufacturing capabilities and customization service offerings to global elevator industry clients.
Throughout the expo, Baoye's booth attracted sustained interest from domestic and international elevator OEMs, installation and maintenance companies, and engineering procurement professionals. Our team engaged in in-depth discussions with visitors from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and other regions, presenting Baoye's manufacturing advantages across three core processes – injection molding, blow molding, and rotational molding – as well as our flexible and efficient OEM/ODM customization services.
Most excitingly, we secured on-site orders directly from customers during the expo – marking a strong start on the very first day! This achievement not only validates the market's strong recognition of Baoye's product quality and service capabilities but also reinforces our confidence in further expanding our presence in the elevator safety protection equipment market.
During this expo, AI-powered active safety technologies, IoT-enabled intelligent elevator maintenance, and green energy efficiency emerged as key industry trends. Through our participation, Baoye successfully connected with high-quality industry clients and gained valuable insights into the technological evolution and market demands within the elevator safety protection sector – laying a solid foundation for future product upgrades and market expansion.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all friends and partners who visited Baoye's booth. We will continue to uphold our service philosophy of “Striving for Excellence, Putting Customers First” and deliver better products and more comprehensive services to global clients in the elevator and safety protection industries. We look forward to seeing you at the next expo!
